Five Months!!

It's only been 5 months, but it feels like a lifetime! The highs are high and the lows are low, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

My Aunt Katie flew in from Japan to help my mom help my sister Amy and me. I haven't seen her in awhile, but it felt like yesterday. I can't explain how wonderful she is, but she makes you feel happy in your soul.

Aunt Katie & Babies

We loaded up the babies in the monster stroller this weekend. We did get lots of stares and people stopping us. I always laugh when people ask if they all came from me. Of course they did!!! Where else would they come from and why would I be pushing them around the neighborhood?!?

Silly Me...

Last Thing... We took the babies to get their Christmas pictures made this weekend. Oh, the drama! Now, I have been told that I have good babies. I didn't always believe it, but during our photo shoot I saw why people say that. I think someone swapped my good babies with the fussiest babies on the planet! How is it that babies know when you are on the phone, in the bathroom or at the photographers???

  1. I hear you, girl! We did photos this week to. Let me just say, our photographer must be a saint. She was so patient with us.

  2. Just wait until they are mobile! We had to go twice to get Christmas photos & she is having to photoshop it to get them all in! There was no other way.
I love the pictures! And you look amazing!

  3. Your babies are precious. I hope you get to "smell the roses" daily with them..I only have one, and have to intentionally "smell" my roses. So I know it must be hard amidst all of the stuff that you 'have' to do to step back and really appreciate your babies and what you have and have accomplished. Anyway....I know you probably already do that, I can tell from your pictures, but I still pray this for you and for every mom and dad.

  6. I totally understand the picture thing! I know how it was with my two. I'm sure it was a sight to behold. And you are dead on about a baby's instinct to cry whenever you're on the phone or trying to go to the bathroom - it's not any better when they become toddlers. (At least not in our house!) Also, I know it's probably a lot of work, but isn't it nice to get out of the house!

  9. Yep, it is like kids have a radar and they just "know".

I bet it is funny the things people say to you. I suppose you just have to laugh, right?

  10. Maybe you should have the photographer come to your house, and catch all those smiles they are used to giving every day! I know I sure love being there on those days when the smiles and cooing is going on!

  15. Don't you just LOVE the stroller? I don't think I could live without mine! The babies are getting so big! They are adorable. I have to warn you about pictures though----we only thought it was hard to take pictures of all five when they were that age, now it is even harder! All I can say is thank goodness for Photoshop :-)
