Hi Ellen, Th babies are cute and I love their hair...I see some red in there! Your face is already looking thin and it's nice to see you not looking miserable! :-) Misty has been giving us updates and we are all excited that things are going well and that you are ok! Love, Debra in Austin.
Ya'll look great! I love seeing their tiny little bodies cuddling! I am anxious for some cuddle time when you get back! Can I hold EACH one????? :) Can I be doing anything for ya'll right now over here??? Please let me know if there is something I can do! Suzanne
Ellen, I am Allen Moser's (from GE) daughter - with twins .... I am just wondering do you need any more preemie clothes ? I have boy and girl preemie clothes that I could give you if you still needed them.... also I have preemie bottles from Gerber - and receiving blankest GALORE! I know you are in Arizona for awhile - but when you get back I would love to come meet you and bring the stuff to you. Also, I would love to help out - I know I don't know you - but if you need any extra hands, please let me know ! Your family is beautiful ! God bless, Sarah
HI ELLEN, You and your husband make a perfect team! Go Howells! I saw Amy today and I was so excited to hear that everything went so well, you are amazing. Please, Please call me if you need a little "house call" as I heard you have not had a haircut since I saw you last ( I think you were around 15 weeks pregnant!) I can't wait to meet these incredible people. Love and Best, Jessica James
Congratulations with everything! Nicole, Cade and I knew that you were going to do a terrific job and we're all so incredibly proud of you. Please rest up and get well b/c we can't wait for you to get home. I've had about enough of seeing Steve's ole' Zombie butt around the office and need some of that good ole' Elle chipperness!!!!!
Looking forward to meeting all of the little ones!
Congratualtions! I am so happy to hear that none of the babies are on a ventilator and they are just cruising along. That is awesome they are gaining weight and tolerating their feeds. Don't you just love the kangaroo care with them? Sawyer used to cry when they'd take him away from me and his breathing and everything did better when I held him.
I hope Elle will get her strength back soon. Be sure to get as much rest as you can before they get home. It is all out the window. Even if they sleep great in the NICU, once you get them home they can change that really quick. I know from experience. LOL
Also, be sure the two of you do at least one date night. You really do need that and it will be a big boost for you before the babies come home. It will help the two of you before the fabulous 5 get home.
Oh, I used to take books in to read to Sawyer while he was in the NICU. Sometimes after weeks of visiting the NICU it is hard to know what to say and it is great for the babies to hear your voices. Reading is such a great thing to start early.
I hope the Lord will continue to bless all of you and give you strength on this wonderful journey you've started.
congrats! i just found your blog and seeing the pics brought back So many memories of our quads being born! they are beautiful. you did an amazing job making it so far. their weights are great for quints! good job!:) if you ever need anything or want to talk/vent feel free to email me...i know you don't know me but sometimes it's nice to talk to someone who's been through this crazy life with multiples. jennyhasquads@yahoo.com
those pictures bring back so many memories of when my two were in the NICU. it's so wonderful and scary at the same time to snuggle your tiny little one for the first time!
It sounds like the babies are doing great. Briellen is the only one on CPAP? That is AWESOME.
All your pictures and posts are so familiar and bring back so many memories (even that Medela Symphony Pump - those suckers are hard to find in the NICU)! If you see Dr Elliott around the BGS halls, tell him the Graf Quads say "hi" (he becomes harder to find after the babies arrive).
I'm glad you were able to move into a bigger house. I hope you'll take everyone's advice and try to get some rest so your body can heal. It feels like you've just run a marathon because you HAVE! And what an incredible prize at the end, huh?
You don't realise just how small they are until you see them with somebody else.
ReplyDeleteI love the blond hair!
How sweet!
