What is normal anymore?? I have spent what seems like forever wishing that life would be normal again... Well, I think I am finally settling into a new normal... I go by walks with the babies by myself. I can feed them their solid food by myself. I can load them and all of their stuff in the car by myself (in 15 minutes!) I can even do all five of their in-the-middle-of-the-night bottles by myself as I learned this Sunday night when our fabulous night nanny asked for the night off. On a whim, I can pack them up and take them to my sisters house for a margarita "play" date, when the weather is nice. Or take them to my mom's house for an evening for a birthday dinner party. I am being able to do things that feel normal to me and it makes me feel happy in my heart!!!

ReplyDeleteYou seem to be doing a wonderful job..I'm so glad you are able to get out of the house and do some fun stuff! The weather here has been great, hasnt it?!?!?!
I love the pics from your view..too cute!
I love your blog! The babies are adorable you're doing a fantastic job with your "new normal." I was wondering what vehicle you have that allows you to put 3 seats in the 3rd row. We're still looking for a new ride for our quads. Right now, it's 2 cars to get everyone from point A to B.
ReplyDeleteTake care,

ReplyDeleteFrom a fellow quintuplet mom...make the most of each stage. Mine are 2 now and the time has gone by so very quickly. God bless you as you embrace your new "normal"...I'm still working on it!! :)
ReplyDeletePS...your children are beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI am happy that you are starting to be able to do 'normal' stuff again.
ReplyDeleteYou are right on track! I only had one at a time (4 in total) and they were about this age when I felt normal. HA
Man, are they cute or what?
You guys are doing awesome and so are the babies.. :)
ReplyDeleteWay to go! Independence is such a great thing. You inspire me to take my own triplets out by myself more.
ReplyDeleteI totally love your blog and always check to see if you have updates on those cuties. :) My question (for today) is how do you pick who gets to be in front of the stroller? Is there a rotation? Do you draw names? I do love that you are getting into a good groove with the babies and are feeling more brave with each step. You are doing great, mama!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you found a new normal. That's so important! I love the pics!
